Some time ago, I was encouraged to write and share a letter to my creative self. At that point, I did not have time to pen a letter, but made a mental note to write something to that effect, at a later point, when the timing felt more in-step with my endeavors.
At present, I have just completed building a very bare bones website— a task that in the face of numerous projects and life events, has taken nearly two years to execute.
Before diving into what I expect will be many long-winded posts about the creative things I do, the methods in which I do them, and other musings, I would like to take this opportunity to greet you, the reader, and present well-wishes from my creative self to yours.
May your experience and thirst for knowledge be transmuted into something wonderful that brings joy and understanding to yourself and others. May every form of struggle or opposition serve as a catalyst for personal transformation and growth. May your wisdom be imparted unto others, sharing in the joy and meditative practice of mindful creation. May the path(s) you walk and the things you create reflect the beauty of a life fully lived.
