This month began with my acceptance into the Amplified Creations Art Exhibition, set to open in July at the Hive Gallery Los Angeles.
The exhibition, which features works from fifty artists (myself included), demonstrates the use of Fender guitar bodies for artistic purposes, traversing music, art, and design.
As this marks my first time refinishing an instrument (rather than simply designing graphics for them as I have in the past), I have been hard at work researching materials, rough sketching ideas, and will soon be sanding and painting my very own exhibition piece.
I will be taking a break from watercolor painting on stream, until completion of my exhibition piece, as mentioned during my live-stream painting sessions. The live-stream sessions will continue as scheduled, shifting focus to my digital workflow, demonstrating my process for the design and creation of my exhibition graphics. Be sure to stay tuned for progress on my design as well as other creative happenings, through my instagram page.
Thanks for viewing!
