Goodbye, July!

The month of July began with much preparation for the refinishing of an official Fender guitar body, for the Amplified Creations exhibition on view from July 11th to July 25th, at the Hive Gallery in Downtown Los Angeles.

Organized by Xzbtlife in partnership with Fender, the exhibition featured works from fifty artists (myself included), demonstrating the use of Fender guitar bodies for artistic purposes. More images of my guitar from this exhibition can be viewed here.

While unable to attend opening night of the exhibition in person, I was able to visit the gallery at a later date, in support of fellow participating artists. I was pleased to see such an array of artistic mediums united for a singular purpose and equally pleased to see such a wide variety of instruments and styles represented through body choice.

Thank you Fender, Xzbtlife, and Hive Gallery, for an experience I will never forget.

Thank you friends, family, and viewers for following along during the creation of this piece, continuing to support my work despite having been unable to live-stream the entire process, and for expressing an interest in what I create.

Stay tuned, for future posts about the creation of my first guitar featured in this exhibition.
